What we keep, and why.

Who we are

OpenACK runs openack.co, a directory of software products whose claimed capabilities we check. Questions about your data go to hello@openack.co.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address and when you signed up. Sign-in links and codes are stored only as hashes and expire.
• What you submit. Your product's name, website, description and claimed capabilities, plus the sign-in address and notes you give our evaluator.
• Test credentials. Encrypted as soon as you submit them, decrypted only inside the evaluation, and deleted when it ends, however it ends. Our evaluator never sees them: it types placeholders that we fill in, and we blur them out of screenshots and remove them from logs.
• Evaluation evidence. Screenshots and step-by-step logs from the browser session, and the results.
• Assistants you connect. If you connect an AI assistant over MCP, we keep its registration and the access tokens it uses.
• Payments. Evaluations are free during early access. When there's a fee, Stripe handles your card and we never see it. We keep a reference to the checkout.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them and Google sees your IP address.

What's public

Listings are public: a product's name, description and claims, and, once a person has reviewed an evaluation, each capability's result and a short explanation. Agents can search products with at least one confirmed capability. Your email address, test credentials, screenshots and logs are never published.

Who helps us run it

• Cloudflare hosts the site, the database, file storage and email, and runs the browser our evaluator uses.
• Anthropic provides the Claude model that drives the evaluator. It sees the pages and screenshots of the product being evaluated, with credentials removed.
• Stripe takes payment, when there's a fee.
• Google Fonts serves our fonts.

How long we keep it

Test credentials: until the evaluation ends. Everything else: for as long as your account exists, or until you ask us to delete it.

Email hello@openack.co and we'll send you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and your products.

Changes

If we change what we collect or why, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
