Montastic checks websites over HTTP and HTTPS, plus ping and ports, and alerts by email when a checkpoint goes down or a keyword appears or disappears. It also monitors SSL certificate expiry, hosts a status page and has a REST API. The free plan covers 50 checkpoints at a 5-minute interval.
